Broadband in Idaho The Idaho Broadband Task Force was established in May of 2019. Like similar initiatives in neighboring states, the organization will collect data on access to high speed networks. Some studies estimate that around twenty percent of the population is underserved by internet providers. The goal of the task force is to guide the deployment of networks, whether wired or satellite, that will help facilitate the connectivity for homes and business in more rural or remote areas.
