Broadband in New Jersey
The most connected state in the US enjoys a 99 percent broadband internet connectivity, with only three percent of its residents underserved. All residents in the state have access to mobile broadband service. Plans are underway to make the one Mbps per student goal a reality as the New Jersey Schools Boards Association (NJSBA) partners with EducationSuperHighway. Broadband connectivity aids the realization of education targets via online learning. Connecting NJ plays a crucial role in facilitating broadband connectivity in the state, having received close to five million dollars in federal funding since 2010.
