Broadband in Oklahoma
The state of Oklahoma has undertaken broadband mapping project that will identify the level of high speed access available to each city or county. The goal of the project is help plan the deployment of new wired networks and infrastructure that can deliver fast internet service to each region, no matter the location (rural vs city centers, etc). It is part of the The Oklahoma Broadband Initiative, which seeks to lay fiber optix cable across the state to serve resident households, local organizations, schools and small business.
