Broadband in South Carolina
Connect South Carolina is an organization that works with private internet service providers to map and assess connectivity across the state. As a public-private initiative it works to ensure high-speed internet access to homes, businesses, and schools in all corners of the state. Aided by federal funding it continues to promote a broadband build-out across South Carolina that will pursue the FCC’s standard of 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload.
